Which Shopware version is current?
Shopware continuously develops the 6.x line (Shopware 6) and regularly releases new minor and patch versions.
You'll always find the current Shopware version in the official source: the Shopware release list or the Shopware developer docs . Which ThemeWare® version runs with which Shopware version is tracked in our changelog and the compatibility overview.
Your own version is shown in the Shopware admin under "Settings → System → About Shopware" – that's the version installed in your shop.
Shopware 6.7, 6.8 & the 6.x line
Within Shopware 6, minor versions such as 6.6, 6.7 or 6.8 introduce new features, while ongoing patch versions deliver improvements and security fixes. What a specific version brings – as far as ThemeWare® is concerned – is documented reliably in the ThemeWare® changelog; the full Shopware release notes are in the official source.

Shopware 7 – the current status
There are many questions around "Shopware 7". Here's the honest take – without speculating about specific dates.
The binding schedule for future major versions is communicated by Shopware itself via the official roadmap and developer channels. We deliberately don't state specific release dates here, because they can change – the official source always prevails.
