Frequently asked questions
The choice of the appropriate ThemeWare® Edition depends on your Shopware 6 setup:
ThemeWare® Cloud Edition:
This edition is ideal if you use the Shopware Cloud and prefer solutions that are ready to use quickly.
You can also use the "Cloud Edition" in a self-hosted shop, but note the somewhat limited range of functions.
ThemeWare® Pro Edition:
If you want to have full control over all features and run a self-hosted Shopware 6 system, this edition is the better choice.
The "Pro Edition" offers the full range of functions and more extensive customisation options.

There is no fixed rule that defines which theme is right for you. In some cases, it can make sense to orientate yourself to the look of the market or a larger competitor. In other cases, it is advisable to consciously create a demarcation.
The special thing about ThemeWare® theme is its great versatility: you can configure a "Modern" theme into a "Clean" theme and vice versa at any time. This gives you the flexibility to test different options and see what suits your shop best.
Just select the ThemeWare® Variant that best suits your shop – you can configure everything else individually later.

ThemeWare® does not install products, categories or Shopping Experiences in your shop so that existing data is not affected. However, you can easily import demo data with the free demo data plugins from Shopware or ThemeWare® if required.
In addition, we have activated many new features of ThemeWare® in the demoshops that have been added over the last few years and have of course not simply been activated automatically in our customers' live shops.
So you can implement everything we show in our demoshops yourself with your ThemeWare® theme.
The only relevant deviation is aimed at customers of the Cloud Edition, as many CMS elements are currently only available in the "Pro Edition" of ThemeWare®. In some demos, you will find the note "Pro Edition" if this feature is not available in the "Cloud Edition".
