ThemeWare® editions compared

ThemeWare® has been available for Shopware 6 Cloud and for Shopware 6 (self-hosted) since its release.

We have developed the ThemeWare® Cloud Edition for the Shopware Cloud. It is based on the Shopware 6 app system and therefore has a slightly limited range of functions for technical reasons. As of Shopware 6.4, apps can also be used in self-hosted systems, but this has no influence on the range of functions.

For the full range of functions, we recommend the ThemeWare® Pro Edition, which is based on the Shopware 6 plug-in system and is available for Shopware 6 (self-hosted).

ThemeWare® Cloud

The ThemeWare® Cloud Edition offers you almost all the functions, countless customisation options and our excellent user support. The Cloud Edition is suitable for beginners and start-ups.

ThemeWare® Pro

The ThemeWare® Pro Edition offers you the full range of functions, unlimited customisation options (including at template level), regular prioritised updates and our excellent user and developer support. The Pro Edition is suitable for beginners as well as professionals and agencies.

Scope of functions

Due to the Shopware 6 app architecture, the ThemeWare® Cloud Edition does not contain the full range of functions of the ThemeWare® Pro Edition.

In apps, the improved display of the theme configuration (see below) and the ThemeWare® CMS elements from version 0.5.0 are currently not possible.

The actual ThemeWare® configuration, the sales-enhancing improvements and features, the ThemeWare® custom fields and most of the ThemeWare® CMS blocks are identical in both versions.

Improved display of the theme configuration

The ThemeWare® Pro Edition offers you an improved display of the theme configuration and therefore better usability in the Shopware Theme Manager.

In addition to a more compact display and an optimised column layout, there is a full-screen mode and sticky-tab navigation. In addition, you always have quick access to the most important links (e.g. to our field search engine or our knowledge database).

Unfortunately, this is not currently possible in the Cloud Edition.
