Changes in detail

Compatibility for Shopware 6.7.16 improved

As of Shopware 6.7.16, the displayed saving refers to the lowest price of the last 30 days as soon as it is stored for the product (field "Cheapest price (last 30 days)"), instead of the list price. The discount badge in all layouts, in the listing and on the product page, as well as the price label on the product page now follow this in the same way as Shopware. This way, the badge and the price always show the same saving. Under Shopware 6.7.15, the badge and the price label continue to refer to the list price, as in Shopware.

The configuration "Listing pages => Product box => Content => Show saving percentage" (previously "Show list price percentage") now also applies to the saving compared to the lowest price of the last 30 days.

In the product box, the lowest price of the last 30 days now has the same colour as the list price and is placed closer to the price, also under Shopware 6.7.15.

The list view now also sends variants, graduated prices and the position in the list to Google Analytics Pro

Shopware extends the data that product boxes and lists pass to Google Analytics with the variant options, the price from price rules or graduated prices and the position of the products across all pages of a list. The ThemeWare® list view now provides this data in the same way as Shopware's product boxes. It is evaluated from Shopware 6.7.17. Extensions that add their own values for analytics to the product boxes now also take effect in the list view.

Own custom fields are now moved to their own set during updates with fewer database queries Pro

Since ThemeWare® 5.5.0, the theme moves own custom fields that were created in the ThemeWare® custom field sets to a separate set during installation and updates. ThemeWare® now does this with a few bundled database queries instead of one query per set, as Shopware recommends for extensions. The result stays the same.

Preparation for Shopware 6.8: The breadcrumb separator now also takes on colour, size and the selected icon set under Shopware 6.8

Shopware 6.8 no longer draws the separator between the breadcrumb entries as an element of its own, but via CSS. Used as an image, the icon would always have Shopware's fixed colour and ignore the selected icon set. ThemeWare® therefore uses the icon as a mask, so under Shopware 6.8 the separator keeps the configured separator colour, the usual size and the icon set. The home icon also keeps its size under Shopware 6.8. Nothing changes in Shopware 6.7.

Preparation for Shopware 6.8: The administration now uses the new Shopware components for icons, notices and color pickers Pro

Shopware 6.8 removes several older building blocks of the administration, including the components for icons, notices, select fields and color pickers. ThemeWare® now uses the new components of the Meteor Component Library in the elements for Shopping Experiences, the Theme Manager and the ThemeWare® Hub, as intended by Shopware. This also works in all 6.7 versions, nothing changes in the administration.

Preparation for Shopware 6.8: The breadcrumb now provides extensions with the same variables as Shopware

Shopware 6.8 defines which information extensions receive in the individual entries of the breadcrumb. For example, the category ID there now stands for the respective entry instead of the current category. ThemeWare® now provides this information in its customized breadcrumb in the same way, so that extensions that add to the breadcrumb also work correctly with ThemeWare®. Nothing changes in the shop.

Preparation for Shopware 6.8: The theme configuration now provides its texts as administration snippets Pro

Shopware 6.8 switches the labels and help texts of the theme configuration to administration snippets. ThemeWare® already provides its texts this way, so that the Theme Manager, the Config Finder and the administration search remain fully labelled under Shopware 6.8. This also works in all 6.7 versions, nothing changes in the administration.

When adding, removing or sorting images, the preview in the Shopping Experiences editor did not always show the new state right away, because an outdated function of the administration was used. The preview now updates immediately, the saved images were not affected.

Bugfix: The Shopping Experiences element "Product description & reviews (Accordion)" is locked again outside of product pages Pro

The element is intended for product page layouts and is locked in other layouts (e.g. landing pages). When opening a Shopping Experience, an outdated function of the administration failed for this, so the element stayed unlocked in other layouts. It is now locked correctly again.

Bugfix: The list view now sends the product number to Google Analytics instead of the internal product ID Pro

In the list view, Google Analytics previously received the internal product ID as the item, in the grid view the product number. The list view now also sends the product number, so the reports of both views match.

Bugfix: News, changelog and prices in the ThemeWare® Hub now also load in shops with directory protection (HTTP Basic Auth), without the administration asking for the password again Pro

The ThemeWare® Hub loads news, changelog and prices via your own shop server. In shops behind directory protection (HTTP Basic Auth), as often used for dev and staging systems, this content could be missing in certain cases, and the browser asked for the password again when switching to the next module. The requests now sign in with the administration login, the content loads reliably and the password prompt no longer appears.
