ThemeWare® 5.0.3 is now available! 🎉 The new release includes the following changes:

Changes in detail

Compatibility with Shopware 6.7.12.0 improved

We have adapted adjustments from Shopware:

  • The px unit is now added automatically to the minimum height of CMS elements. Pro
  • The listitem role has been moved from the headline and Content divs onto the .footer-column wrapper, aligning the list semantics with the current Shopware storefront.
  • In the "Subcategory navigation", the active category is now marked as the current page (aria-current) so screen readers announce it clearly. Pro

The "Top bar" is now shown even when the USP bar with an integrated "Top bar" is hidden

When the USP bar layout "Small icons + Top bar" is selected, the top bar contents such as language, currency, and service menu are integrated into the USP bar. If the USP bar is hidden in this configuration, the top bar regularly remains without content.

While this behavior is technically correct, it can lead to misunderstandings during configuration. The theme now automatically detects this unfavorable configuration and displays the top bar independently again with all corresponding contents, provided that the top bar has been enabled in the configuration. A service hotline activated in the top bar remains unaffected.

Compatibility with "Advanced Checkout" extension has been improved

In the checkout, "Advanced Checkout" hides the regular shop header. Header functions of the theme now check whether a header is present at all before they become active. This makes the theme and "Advanced Checkout" work together even smoothly during checkout — including with other extensions that remove the header there.

Compatibility with "EU Guarantee Notice & GARAN" extension has been improved

The legal guarantee and warranty labels from the "EU Guarantee Notice & GARAN" extension are now shown directly below the product specifications on the product detail page (instead of at the bottom of the buy box).

Links to the manual have been added in over 60 configurations

We have started adding links to relevant guides in the ThemeWare® Manual to various configuration fields.

Bugfix: Product boxes now include the xxl breakpoint in their srcset

When the custom srcset option is enabled for product boxes, the XXL breakpoint is now also taken into account in the image size calculation, ensuring that very large screens receive the appropriate image resolution.

Bugfix: Dot navigation centered in sliders

The "dot navigation" is now correctly centered again when configured to be centered.
