After updating to Shopware 6.7.10.x, product images in the gallery may briefly appear and then disappear in certain cases. This mainly affects Firefox and Safari. Chrome and Opera do not appear to be affected in the same way.
We have checked the issue, reproduced it on a fresh Shopware standard installation, and were able to clearly identify the cause: This is not a ThemeWare issue, but a regression in the Shopware core since version 6.7.10.0.
The issue typically occurs on product detail pages with many product images, especially when using the “left” gallery layout with vertical thumbnails. In many cases, it appears when a product has around 15 or more images.

Until the final fix is provided via a Shopware update, the JavaScript workaround described in the workaround issue can be used as a temporary solution. It removes the stuck gallery loading state in Firefox and Safari, making the product images visible again.
The final fix will be delivered centrally through Shopware. According to the current status, the correction is planned for Shopware 6.7.12.0.
