Shopware 6.7 is just around the corner

A new major release is on the horizon with Shopware 6.7.0 (scheduled for May 2025), and we are already working hard to ensure the compatibility and full functionality of our extensions.

As with many major version jumps, this update also brings some far-reaching breaking changes. Therefore, we expect to have to do a lot of work to adjust and restore all the features in the coming weeks.

Breaking changes mean that there cannot be a ThemeWare® version that is compatible with both Shopware 6.6 and Shopware 6.7! Therefore, there are some important points to keep in mind when updating to Shopware 6.7. Detailed information will be provided in advance in the Service Portal.

Unfortunately, we are not yet able to give you an exact release date for the updated expansions, but we will of course keep you informed here.

Note: Based on our experience with the last major releases of Shopware 6, we recommend waiting a few weeks with the update. In any case, you should wait until all the extensions you use are compatible. It is also important to test the shop update thoroughly in a test system beforehand.

Update: April 10, 2025 - Shopware 6.7 RC2 available

With the release of RC2, we would like to provide a short update – because RC1 already brought some significant changes. In particular, the CMS elements, header and navigation need to be revised, which currently requires a lot of effort. Many of these changes are due to fundamental changes to Shopware itself. We are working hard to implement everything in a stable, user-friendly and seamless way.
