Highlights

New configuration: Remove description in product boxes #FeatureRequest

Based on a feature request, a new configuration option has been added that allows the product description in product boxes to be removed. This setting applies to the layout type "Standard" in listings and provides more flexibility in customizing the product overview.

New configuration: Show/hide description in product boxes depending on viewport

In addition to the option to remove the product description in product boxes, a new configuration has been added. It allows the description to be shown only from a defined viewport size onwards. This makes it possible to adapt the product box layout to different screen sizes.

New configuration: "Font weight" of the USP bar with "large icons" #FeatureRequest

Based on a feature request, a new configuration option has been added to individually adjust the title font weight in the USP bar variant with "large icons".

Changes in detail

Height of the description in product boxes adjusted

In this release, we have overwritten the fixed height of the description in product boxes of the Shopware default theme so that it does not have to be adjusted manually and truncation via CSS works better.

Revised keyboard navigation and stability in the "ThemeWare® flyout"

Keyboard navigation in the "ThemeWare® flyout" has been revised to ensure more consistent behavior when using the Tab key and arrow keys. Minor behavioral issues and JavaScript errors have also been fixed, further improving usability and accessibility.

In addition, the flyout now remains open longer to support multi-line top navigation menus. For conversion optimization, we still recommend keeping the top navigation limited to a single line.

The tablet interaction has also been corrected so that first-level links now work as expected again.

Improvements in the theme configuration

In this release, the theme configuration has been further improved. The beta configuration has been cleaned up and the product box settings have been structured more clearly. In addition, help texts have been added to make the configuration easier to use and understand.

Various SCSS improvements

Various SCSS optimisations have been implemented in the storefront area, improving the display of breadcrumbs, prices and the USP bar container.

Bugfix: The "Top navigation" can be deactivated again

An error in the header template migration for Shopware 6.7 has been fixed. As a result, the top navigation can now be deactivated as intended.

During this update, several configuration options were reviewed, with a focus on the interaction between the relevant header configuration fields to ensure consistent behavior.

In addition, the JavaScript error "Cannot read properties of null (reading 'getAttribute')" occurring when the top navigation was disabled has been resolved.

Bugfix: Hover effects in product boxes fixed

The hover effects in product boxes have been fixed. The effects now respond as intended.

Bugfix: SCSS scope issue in the Storefront watcher fixed

When using the "Checkout Steps", an incorrect SCSS variable assignment caused a compilation error in the Storefront watcher. This issue has been fixed, and the watcher now runs smoothly again.

Bugfix: Premature hiding of the "Countdown banner" fixed [Pro Edition]

Fixed an issue in the countdown banner template that caused it to be hidden too early.
