In this article we show you some highlights from our updates from January to April 2022.

New CMS blocks with "Two Columns" added

A #FeatureRequest for two new CMS blocks was implemented.

Added "expert mode" option for troubleshooting

With ThemeWare® you have the option of adding CSS and JavaScript code via individual files and the theme configuration. Since incorrect code can lead to problems, we have integrated the debugging option "Expert mode" to be able to deactivate individual codes with one click.

Added custom field for product-specific "Benefits" (6)

ThemeWare® for Shopware 6 can now display benefits on the product page (like our Shopware 5 themes).

We have not simply adopted this feature, but have improved it somewhat:

In ThemeWare® for Shopware 6 it is now possible to integrate general "Benefits" via a snippet and/or product-specific "Benefits" via a custom field.

As it may be that you want to define other benefits for a product than the shop benefits (e.g. in the "Benefits" widget) there are separate snippets for the product pages in ThemeWare® for Shopware 6: "twt.detail.benefits.headline" or "twt.detail.benefits.content".

As with the widget "Benefits", the product benefits are separated with a semicolon (e.g. Free shipping; Shipping within 24h; 30-day money-back guarantee; Convenient purchase on account).

In the theme configuration you can choose whether the custom field (if filled), the general benefits (the snippet) or a combination is displayed in the buybox.

Added new display type for the "USP bar" in the footer

There is a new layout for the USP bar in the footer.

Along with this, there are new snippets called "subtitles".

Widget "Custom text" added to the footer

In the footer there is a new widget which can be filled via the snippets "twt.widget.text.headline" and "twt.widget.text.content".

Hotline can now be displayed in the top bar

A hotline can now be displayed in the top bar. Use the snippets: "twt.header.serviceHotlineText" and "twt.header.serviceHotlineText".

Added configurations for CSS classes in various CMS teasers [Pro-Edition].

A #FeatureRequest for further CSS classes in various CMS elements was implemented.

Added tab "Product videos" for product pages

A #FeatureRequest for product videos as a separate tab on the product page was implemented.

Manufacturer logo added to the manufacturer tab

The ThemeWare® manufacturer tab now also contains the manufacturer logo.

Custom field for a short description (2) added to the product page

A #FeatureRequest for a short description on the product page was implemented.

The short description can be filled individually for each item via a custom field. The visibility is controlled in the theme configuration.

The font configuration for the payment provider logos (4) on the product page will be extended.

Configuration for the sharing links on the product page

The font configuration for the sharing links (7) on the product page will be extended.

Free shipping badge on the product page

A free shipping badge (1) is added to the product page.

Configuration for the labels on the product page

The font configuration for labels (3) on the product page is extended.

Free shipping label on the product page

A free shipping label (3) will be added to the product page.

Configuration for the product specifications on the product page

The font configuration for product specifications (5) on the product page will be extended.

Advanced configuration for product badges

The configuration for product badges (1) (3) on the product page and in the listing will be significantly expanded.
