ThemeWare® 1.0.11

In June, with the update to ThemeWare® 1.0.11, we integrated a few exciting features and improvements that we would like to briefly introduce to you in this article.

In addition to improvements and bug fixes, the focus of this update was on the top navigation and the listing.

Highlights

Added arrows for menu items with subcategories in top navigation

There is now a configuration to add arrows to the top navigation which indicate that there is a flyout or subcategories for this menu item.

Added configuration for level 3 in the top navigation flyout

There is now a separate configuration for the 3rd level in the top navigation flyout.

Short description can be shown in the product box

We have implemented a #FeatureRequest to display the recently added short description in the listing instead of the default description. The short description is HTML-enabled and should therefore be used with caution.

Added new hover effect for top navigation

It is now possible to use the default hover effect of Shopware 6. This is of course configurable like all other hover effects.

Changes

Hover effects in product boxes improved

There is a new hover effect for the action buttons in product boxes which now slides the entire content so that the price is no longer hidden.

Improved appearance of the bootstrap pagination in mobile viewports

Unfortunately, the pagination of Bootstrap or Shopware 6 does not break by default. We have integrated a small fix in this regard so that the pagination no longer runs out of the visible area in mobile viewports.

Improved appearance of the home link in top navigation

The appearance of the home link in the top navigation has been improved. This now has a simplified hover effect so that the button is better aligned with the shop logo.

Various SCSS improvements

A deprecated note from the SASS compiler regarding "interpolation errors in multiline comments" was taken into account.
