Shopware 6.6 veröffentlicht
Shopware hat heute die endgültige Version Shopware 6.6.0.0 veröffentlicht.
Update: Mit Shopware 6.6.0.2 ist Shopware 6.6 wieder über den WebInstaller verfügbar und somit ein Update von 6.5 auf 6.6 über die Administration möglich.

Wichtig: Da es bei Major-Releases von Shopware aufgrund von "Breaking changes" zu Inkompatibilitäten mit Erweiterungen (Plugins/Apps/Themes) kommen kann, empfehlen wir solch große Updates vorab in einem Testsystem oder einer Staging-Umgebung zu testen und zusätzlich vorab ein vollständiges Backup des Shops zu erstellen.

Stelle sicher, dass alle Erweiterungen kompatibel mit Shopware 6.6 sind und fehlerfrei funktionieren, bevor du sie in deinem Live-System aktivierst! JavaScript-Fehler sind einer der häufigsten Gründe für Fehler in der Shopware-Storefront und diesbezüglich haben sich in Shopware 6.6 wieder einige Änderungen ergeben.

Kommando zurück. Shopware hat Shopware 6.6 teilweise wieder zurückgenommen um ein Problem mit dem Web-Installer und dem "auto update feature" zu beheben:

Namely the web installer and the distribution via the auto update feature in the administration.The github tag is still live.
Why?
If a shop has installed plugins which are using the
executeComposerCommandsfunction, the update via the administration can fail.The shop is not in a failstate afterwards, the update just fails.What now?
If you are administering your shop via cli and composer (which you should), it doesn't matter, everything works fine.Everyone who is using the browser to update their shop has to wait until this is resolved, which might take a few days
Update – 02.04.2024
Shopware hat Shopware 6.6.0.2 veröffentlich. Damit ist Shopware 6.6 wieder über den WebInstaller verfügbar und somit ein Update von 6.5 auf 6.6 über die Administration möglich.
We released Shopware 6.6.0.2 to fix a bug that sortings are saved in a wrong format in CMS slots. Besides that Shopware 6.6 is now available through the WebInstaller, so it's now possible to update from 6.5 to 6.6 from the Administration.
